I would refer to Annie’s session as “the one with the wind,” except that seems to be a recurring theme in many of my senior portrait sessions. Still, it’s an accurate description of the weather that day. Thing is, rather than causing all sorts of trouble, the breeze added just an extra bit of oomph–a modeling fan could not have done as perfect a job! I love the way Annie’s then-new bob looks in these windy photos! But enough about the wind, because spending time getting to know Annie was even better. And I think her eyes show perfectly the kind of feeling you get when talking to her–warmth, kindness, and a hint of a giggle.
Annie, thank you so much for asking me to make your senior photos. I wish you the best in your senior year and beyond!
