The trees are coming into leaf
Like something almost being said;
The recent buds relax and spread,
Their greenness is a kind of grief.
Is it that they are born again
And we grow old? No, they die too,
Their yearly trick of looking new
Is written down in rings of grain.
Yet still the unresting castles thresh
In fullgrown thickness every May.
Last year is dead, they seem to say,
Begin afresh, afresh, afresh.
Last but not least (by any stretch!), I’m happy to share my favorites from Bella’s senior model portraits. I’m pleased to get the chance to know Bella better this year, having met her first at her sister Naomi’s session a couple of years ago and photographing the whole family (whom I really adore!) last summer. I love the way Bella’s beautiful curly locks caught the wild April light and wind at our session! Dublin Coffman Class of 2017, get your session on the books! Start here! (And ask Bella all about it too!)
