Four weeks ago, I bag my bags (oh, were they heavy!) and headed to Salt Lake City for the first ever ClickAway conference hosted by Clickin Moms. I must admit to being a bit nervous about the trip (and I never really adjusted to being so far from my husband and kids!), but I am so glad that I went! I was so excited to meet so many of the friends I have made over the past couple of years through other courses and workshops, both online and in person. And I ended up meeting many more sweet and talented women there as well. As I’m sure you can imagine, there was much talk about photography–I attended several great talks and a few keynote addresses by Elizabeth Gilbert and Joy Prouty. Of course, there was some actual picture-making as well (hence the heavy bags!). Here are a few of my favorites from a “shapes and lines” and a “film lovers” photowalk as well as an evening trip out to Saltair. Overall, my experience at Clickaway was such fun and a great learning experience. The entire conference went so smoothly (if there were any hiccups, I didn’t notice!) I can’t wait for the next one! For now, enjoy the tour!
